Program Features
Several English language tests are accepted by universities and for immigration/employment around the world: IELTS (International English Language Testing Service), LPI (Language Proficiency Index), and CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program). They evaluate how students can combine English listening, reading, writing, and speaking
skills. IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who seek to study or work where English is the language of communication.
CELPIP evaluates the test taker’s English listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. It is officially designated for permanent residence applications by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and is also accepted for professional designations.
Students should have language competencies equivalent to IELTS 5. Student needs are assessed and will be tailored test preparation in key testing areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Course Duration
The course is 120 hours in total.
Student progress will be determined by a number of variables, such as the student’s motivation, the size of the class, and the student’s aptitude toward language acquisition.

Online delivery: This program is offered through distance education (online). The education delivery for the program utilizes a range of methods.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, students will have improved their comprehension and practical use of English and testing skills.
This course will equip students in English listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing related to IELTS testing. At the end of the Course, students will be well prepared to achieve the IELTS standard equivalent to 6.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Students who enroll in a language program which is six months or less in duration or for which
tuition is less than $4,000 may not make a claim against the Student Tuition Protection Fund, which is managed by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills. Further, this language program may not have been reviewed or approved by PTIRU.
